Where is “Quincy Heights”?

Broadly, it’s the area around Quincy Street, which runs up the hill from Mass Ave to Gray St, next to the Ottoson, in Arlington Heights.

Sort of like a yard sale, except all the prices are $0! Everything is free. This is a way for us to de-clutter while hopefully finding new homes for stuff that’s just too good to throw away. Someone else’s treasure.

Look around the neighborhood for FREE signs, and take what you want, and hopefully need. Some folks may be around to answer questions, but maybe not.

Some families may ask for donations for local charities. So if you feel a little guilty about getting something great for free, you can help yourself and others by making a donation.

Everything is first-come, first-serve, so “shop” early. That said, NO EARLY BIRDS!

Just because something is out on the curb or in someone’s front yard or driveway, don’t assume that they are giving it away. Make sure that there’s a prominent FREE sign or sticker on it before you take it. If there’s any doubt, look for someone to ask, or leave it alone.
Unless it’s clearly marked as FREE, the tables or stands that stuff is on are NOT FREE, and probably aren’t there for the taking. Ask if there’s any doubt.
